The students at Beaty-Warren Middle School were involved in a two week long competition to raise money for the United Fund of Warren County.  Over this two week period, the students collected money of any amount during lunches.  After the money was contributed, the student was permitted to put an ornament on the Helping Hands Christmas Tree.  The tree and ornaments were created by the 6th, 7th and 8th grade exploratory students.   The grade which donated the most money was allowed to choose which organizations would receive the funds.   The eighth grade ended up winning the competition and voted to designate the money to New Hope Assistance Dogs.  The check for $154 will be given to the United Fund of Warren County for use by New Hope.  Pictured presenting the check from left to right, Avery Olsen, Alexis Galloway, Jim Goodling, Alexis Johnson and Elizabeth Smith.
